Undead - Norton Remove and Reinstall

I need to find out how to stop Norton Remove and Reinstall from running every time I boot my PC.

I had a problem with my Norton Security install on a Windows Vista PC.  I tried the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool but it failed and told me to remove the Norton licence and reinstall it manually.  This I did and all seems fine.

However, every time I boot my system, Norton Remove and Reinstall pops up trying to run again!  It's like one of the UNDEAD - I exit the tool, but every time I boot the PC, up it pops up again!

How do I put a bullet through the head of this particular zombie?

Running Norton Security 22.15.1.8 on Windows Vista Home Premium SP2.

Norton Remove and Reinstall version 4.5.0.27

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Thanks very much!  Yes, that worked.  To add to those directions, while I was in the scheduler I also removed the entire Norton Remove and Reinstall folder.  PC is now rebooting normally.
