Unexpected signing in

I have noticed that according to the security log there has been signing in to Windows when I know that it has not actually been done physically by a person at the same location. What should I do?

Re: Unexpected signing in

Check your Microsoft account for any unusual log in activity.
https://account.microsoft.com/profile/ check under the security tab.

Is there any password, pin or Hello (fingerprint, facial recognition) log in setup on the PC?
Do you have two-factor authentication on your MS account?

It may be the auto sign in Microsoft does when it updates Windows, depending on the time & settings it may auto restart & if you have ‘use my sign in information to automatically log in after a restart or an update’ ticked then this will happen.
