Unwanted Norton Security Delux Trial

Hello Everyone,

Forgive me for asking a potentially daft question, but if a Trial Subscription for Norton Security Delux expires and I do nothing, will Norton attempt to Automatically renew the subscription, or will it just expire?

Due to a misunderstanding, I thought that my Norton 360 subscription would entitle me to use Norton Mobile Security on my phone. Seems that is not the case.

Thanks.

Re: Unwanted Norton Security Delux Trial

What happens depends on whether or not you entered any billing information into your Norton Account. I would suggest contacting Norton Support to resolve this. I would also suggest having support upgrade your old 360 product. As long as you have been keeping your 360 updated, it is functionally identical to the newer Norton Security products except for the name displayed, and the number and type of devices covered. If you use the backup feature of 360, you will need the Premium version of NS as that is the only version with backup.

Support should be able to upgrade you and get your remaining time from the older 360 subscription transferred to your new product.

Re: Unwanted Norton Security Delux Trial

Thanks Peterweb. I took your advice and contacted Norton on LiveChat, and they advised me that my trial subscriptions will expire next month and I won't be charged.

I'll mark your post as solution as this has answered my question.

Glad I could help.

What did you decide for activating the full version of your mobile products?
