Update to 22.7.0.76 removes Norton Toolbar & Safe Search from Firefox?

My Norton Security product has just updated itself to version 22.7.0.76

Following a restart Norton prompted me to activate security add-on's for Internet Explorer.  However I use Firefox version 47.0.

Once I started Firefox I found that Norton Toolbar and Safe Search had been removed.  Not even listed in the available Add-On's or Extensions.  How can you arbitrarily enforce an update that removes important security features from my browser of choice.

How do I go about re-enabling both the Norton Toolbar and Safe Search for Firefox.  Please!
Or, is it possible to go back to the previous Norton Security version?

Thanks.

Ooops, Sorry.

Turns out that this was my fault.  I had 'disabled' the Norton Identity Safe Add-On within Firefox. I was unaware that the Norton Toolbar and Safe Search features were a part of the 'Identity Safe' Add-On.

Once I re-enabled Identity Safe the Norton Safe Search and Toolbar returned.

Thanks.

When they updated the Norton Toolbar a while back in Firefox they named it Norton Identity Safe for some unknown reason especially since Identity Safe doesn't work in Firefox.

Norton wants add-on to be thought of as Extension vs Toolbar
