Update failed to complete

Since last night, I've noticed there is one update that seems to not work. All the other updates download and a single item gets left and it states "failed to complete". Restarting the computer did not help nor did using the intelligent updater I've seen recommended on here.

Generally, there is just a glitch in the downloaded item that does not allow it to install correctly. Normally, the next run of LiveUpdate will try again. Etc, etc until the update takes. Sometimes it is just a bad file, that Norton has to replace before it will install correctly.

If you still see this update failed after 24 hours, post back here. 

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Thank you. As of today the update is still stuck.

But it is still the weekend and the updates are not as frequent, or as up to date as they are on weekdays. See what happens on Monday.

What update is failing?

I'm having the same problem, which started a few days ago. something funny is going on with Norton's updates. Have they been checked out on Windows 7?
