Re: Update without taking the rest of the former days???

When you use a new product key to renew your product the time remaining on the old subscription is lost. But not forever. Just contact Norton Support via online chat and they will add your lost time to the new subscription.   www.norton.com/chat

Edit

I can understand why users get confused. The wording is a little vague. The renewal screen says "To renew your existing subscription....."  The key phrase here is your existing subscription. By entering a new product key from a purchase outside Norton, you are actually activating a new subscription.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
