Upgrading OS tips

I'm upgrading from 32bit Win 10 Pro to 64bit Win 10 Pro. Apparently, this requires some removal of existing programs, including Norton NIS, during the upgrade. Currently, NIS is configured with Identity Safe.

What's the best way to reinstall NIS, after the upgrade, to keep the current passwords that are in Identity Safe?

Thanks.

Re: Upgrading OS tips

As mentioned in your other thread, the best way to reinstall Norton after the OS upgrade, is to download it from your Norton Account as it will be pre-activated.

Re: Upgrading OS tips

Uninstall Norton and pretty much any program that is 32bit only. Upgrade your Windows, reinstall everything properly through official sources. As F4E have mentioned, getting software from your account is the best way. And in general be careful and just in case make some back ups. You can never be sure if the upgrade fails or doesn't go through properly and some of your programs might get corrupted. Honestly, I would uninstall everything completely and reinstall a fresh copy.
