Vault is open. How do I get Manager to store a recently created password

Occasionally, Manager is not recognizing my password entry for a new site. How can I get the password registered in the Vault after it was created at an earlier time. It seams this happens with Bank Passwords.

If you are using the Norton Password Generator at create the new password then I am having the same issue. The new password is created but password manager doesn't update so when I go back to the site it uses the old password and I can't get in and have to go through the whole "Forgot Password" procedure. Having an application that creates nice secure passwords but then doesn't remember them is about useless.

Re: Vault is open. How do I get Manager to store a recently created password

That is one of the effects I am experiencing. The other is that when I first create a log-in, and this happens mostly with the Banking URLs, I will enter the password and 'Password Manager' will not aske me to SAVE. Now I cannot get the password in the Vault for future use. There doesn't seem to be a feature to enter passwords after the fact. If the Password Manager doesn't activate a link - is thare a way to enter the password for that URL?

Both issues are frustrating to say the least.

See if this Norton KB article helps. Scroll down to the Add a login manually.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Adding the information manually has seemed to work. There is a learning curve to the process.

Thank you
