Video Card Upgrade reccomendation

I an currently running a Nvidea Gforce RTX 2060 video card. This gives me a hashrate of 25.86 MH/s and a payout of prox $17 per 2 weeks.

What would you recommend I upgrade my video card to in order to get much more payout?

What would you not recommend?

My power supply cannot support the RTX 3080 or higher without a 750w power supply addition. Mine is a 480w with only 1 PCIe power jack.

I think anything more than what you have will need two 8 pin pci plug in's...I have a RTX 2070, the next card above the 2060 and it uses two 8 pin plugswith hashrate about 40-41

With your hashrate 40-41, how much do you earn in 2 weeks for comparison?

Re: Video Card Upgrade reccomendation

I don't have the card in now but for each 50 hashrate, I figure about $3.50 a day....but...ETH value going up so fast can change that to $5 pretty fast...only been doing this about a month and I think ETH value was about $4,000 a month ago...now I think it's about $4,500

ok, thanks. I was considering the purchase of a RTX 3060. Any Idea where I can find the prox hashrate for something like this?

https://whattomine.com/gpus Might help some

It's pretty accurate whether it's Norton or some other miner...not all in ETH hashrate but you can get an idea from it And so you know...all 3000 series Nvidia cards are LHR or low hash rate meaning they only mine at 1/2 speed except for the 3090 which runs full speed at about 100-110 hashrate...

This is important since you could pay $2000 for a 3080 card and have mining little more than a 2 year old 2070 card...

Re: Video Card Upgrade reccomendation

I see a lot of RTX 3080 cards that advertise Non-LHR.

Also that https://whattomine.com/gpus(link is external) link says there are RTX Non-LHR.

I am ready to make a purchase.;l

How can I determine if the card is Non-LHR or it is false advertising?

Re: Video Card Upgrade reccomendation

If it's LHR, it will be have LHR printed on the box somewhere...I read that some older cards were not LHR but all newer cards are except the 3090...some places sell LHR cards but don't mention anything about LHR so if you can't see the box or it's not listed as LHR, I wouldn't buy it.
