Video Monitoring Does Not Work

I purchased a Norton Family Premier account for my child's Android device after watching the video that clearly states the product provides YouTube monitoring.  After more than 2 hours of working on it, I still cannot get it to register any video activity.  I even tried disabling the YouTube app and forcing videos to be watched via Chrome, but still nothing shows up.  In addition, nothing shows up under the Apps monitoring tab.  I was hoping for information on which apps were used, and for how long.  Please advise how to fix these issues.

Norton Family for Windows (ex. PC) monitors videos.  Norton Family for Android (ex Android phone) currently doesn't monitor videos yet.  The feature is on the enhancement list for future development for Android.  For details on what features are available, please check out the link below.

When will these features be available?  It's really frustrating that the limitations were not made clear before spending $50.  It feels very much like false advertising.  Basically, it seems like the only features that currently work for Android devices are monitoring for websites, location, messaging, and time.  The key features (that are the reason I purchased this product), do not work - monitoring for video, search, social, and app usage.  Very unhappy customer.

Norton Family for Android also allows parent to choose which apps are allowed/blocked to use.  Our Android team is working on the features that are currently available to Norton Family Windows, that are not yet available for Android yet.

I faced the same problem in which video monitoring of my kids android tablets are not supported. Am really disappointed.

Thanks for the input.  As mentioned earlier, video monitoring feature is currently available for Norton Family Windows and iOS devices, like iphone.  The Android team is working on supporting the feature.

Ok Katie,

Could you please tell us when it would be activated for Android ?. I regret to buy the product, even the support team, when I contacted them, they lied to me and told my NF supporting Android. Please give us firm answer, instead of just telling that you're working with the team to make it available. I've bought the product because I want to monitor my kids activity, and I spent around one hour with sales representative on my mobile, and I told him everything regarding my kids tablets, but at the end, Android is not supported, after all, I waste my money for nothing.
