Virus Defs Out of Date (Loop) after Norton for Mac 7.4 update

The recently released Norton 7.4 fixed a lot of issues, but one remains, or it is new.

I get the popup window that says there is a problem and I should fix it. Norton says the virus definitions are out of date. So I run fix, it updates the virus definitions, finishes, but the fix flag remains. No matter how many times I run Fix to update the virus definitions, it keeps saying it needs to be fixed. Like an infinite loop.

Please advise.

I have been talking to Tech, hopefully they come up with something... soon.

What was their response? Did they acknowledge the problem? Are they working on it?

We did a remote session, Norton fixed it and all is well as of now. I'll let go for a couple days and then start changing settings to what I want and see if it holds.

It's good that they fixed this for you. Keep us posted if the problem continues.
