Do I need the separate Norton Secure VPN app if I have Norton 360 installed on my iPhone?

I have a 10 user licence for Norton LifeLock that I use on Apple and Windows systems. On my iPhone I have LifeLock and a separate VPN icon that uses two of my 10 licences. I see on LifeLock that VPN is greyed out as my network is secure and presumably comes on stream if I use the phone when away from home on a public network, Do I need the separate “stand alone” VPN facility ?

As the new Mobile 360 products now have the VPN feature included, you should uninstall the standalone version to ensure there are no conflicts.

When away from home, you can always turn the VPN feature on manually if you are not comfortable with just allowing the Automatic turning on for only compromised networks.

As for your activations used in your Account, if you have uninstalled the standalone VPN, from your Norton Account click on the user icon at the top right and click on My Subscriptions. Then find your current subscription and click on Manage Licenses. Find your iPhone's 2 entries and click on the trash can beside both to remove the activations. Now, after a few minutes to allow your phone to update from the account, go back to the 360 app on your iPhone and Sign In to your Norton Account to re activate the full version again. That should now only show the one activation for that device.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
