VPN

If my husband and I travel I want to turn on my VPN will that protect my passwords and banking information or do I need something else?

What device and operating system version are you using?

There is no Kill Switch for iOS devices.

On Windows devices you need to look for the VPN Settings from the My Norton interface. Click on the down arrow beside the Turn on/off for the VPN, and click on Settings. Then turn on the Kill Switch.

On Android devices, tap on the three bars at the top left, then tap on Settings > Privacy. Turn on the Kill Switch setting from there.

The VPN can be used to encrypt your personal info that is sent to and from any network you have logged into.

Turn it on and make sure it is on before you send or receive any confidential data. You should also set the kill switch on to drop the network in case the VPN drops unexpectedly. That is all you will need to do.
