vpn blocking websites

when i turn on VPN and attempt to open a legitimate website that i have no problem opening without the VPN turned on, i get the error "server not found" this is more than annoying!!!!! how do i stop this when using VPN or am i yet again forced to not use a part of the service that i paid for/??????

Are you seeing this error on specific sites, or all sites?  Many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections.

I continue to experience this major annoyance!  Frequently blocked from accessing any website, have to stop Norton VPN to gain access to any website,  I then restart Norton VPN and will work for a while, but will inevitably Norton VPN will block access to ALL websites.  This has been reported by others.  It started in February, as others have reported.  I have contacted support twice with no resolution.  This is very frustrating.
