My VPN shows everything is perfect, yet it isn't working. My IP address hasn't changed, the IP address given by the VPN is wrong.
The Kill switch hasn't worked, The VPN has a tick saying it is connected, my IP address should be this, but it's frozen nothing is working.
Dangerous because without checking it appears to be fine.

Are you using the VPN feature in Norton 360 or the standalone Norton Secure VPN app?
My VPN shows everything is perfect, yet it isn't working. My IP address hasn't changed, the IP address given by the VPN is wrong.
If the IP address hasn't changed what IP is given that you say is wrong? How are you checking the IP address? I like to use https://whatismyipaddress.com/ Check it with and without the VPN active.
How did you test the Kill Switch? That only kicks in if your internet connection drops out.

Where is this tick? Try checking the IP address shown with the website I linked above.

The VPN isn't working, it shows it's working, but nothing works. Cannot even change the VPN region. It is totally jammed.
However a restart of the computer often fixes the issue. It fails about 50% of the time.

I always check with whatismyipaddress, when the VPN jams it gives the same IP address as when the VPN is turned off
When my VPN jams nothing much works. It has the tick and says connected. However even the kill switch doesn't work.
The only thing that works is the Sign out button. I sign out, sign back in, it's still jammed.
Have uninstalled the VPN and reinstalled, it's still jammed.
The only thing that works is restarting the computer. that often fixes the problem

You did not confirm whether you are using the standalone Norton Secure VPN or the VPN feature in Norton 360. If you have both installed, you should uninstall the standalone and use the VPN feature of 360. Having both might cause the kind of issue you are seeing.
