It is possible he mis-interpreted association I suppose but it left me with the impression he had not heard of Wire Guard and the wg Internet insignia. He offered no input about the VPN.

I have only seen this change over the last couple of weeks. So it is totally possible that the scripts used by support agents have not yet been updated with this information.

Amazing, users are taking note, company representatives seem to be unsure. Very bad PR coming from a company who touts online security.
