Vsupport Llc Scam

I needed to phone Norton but had to use my smartphone to search for a phone number as my PC was not working.  I found what I thought was a Norton site and phoned.  It turned out this was a fake site.  I explained to the person who I thought worked for Norton what the problem was.  I fell for the usual scam story.  Trogan, can only be fixed by a third party company employing Microsoft engineers, free Norton for 8 years, need remote access, will cost $$$.  I paid and it was fixed but only for one day.  I realized after I put the phone down that Vsupport Llc are scammers and Norton confirmed this and have now fixed the problem.  I need further evidence for my bank that this is a scam.  Can people with knowledge of this please confirm as it must have been done many times before.

Re: Vsupport Llc Scam

Back in Oct 2013 I bought a HP notebook. Right from the start I had big instability problems with this PC. I am or was an Electronic Technician and although I worked on computerised Equipment I had never take any interest in Home computers. This notebook was my worst nightmare it got so bad I decided to ring Norton because I was convinced this instability could ony be due to a Virus although nothing was being detected by my Norton 360. When I rang I got this Woman who asked if she might scan my Notebook, remember at this stage thought this was Norton Customer Service. She told me after scanning that my system was inundated with trojan type viruses and on the point of crashing. She then came up with a price of $400 for two years and they would fix present issues with my notebook. I agreed to this and  my notebook was fixed. I have experienced no problems with the V support Techs but as I started to learn more it became obvious that all these Techs were doing was downloading free tools or tools on a 30 day trial and deleting after they had done the job. I started doing this my self and using the PC's inbuilt checking and fix tools and found that I could fix my own Computer just as well as V support Techs. Half the time they were working on your PC they were doing nothing but dragging it out to make it seem more difficult than it was..
