What is correct syntax for adding an email domain to Blocked List in NIS v22?

I get spam from assorted addresses in domains like @eku.edu and @eagle.com and I want to block ALL e-mail from those domains, but the Blocked List in the spam settings of NIS v22 (latest version, I think) doesn't seem to work. I suspect it's a syntactical problem. How do I block a whole domain? My settings are shown in the attachment.

The format in your attachment is correct.  I'm having the same problem on my Windows 10 machine using Outlook 2016.  It not only doesn't work for domains but it doesn't work for individual e-mail addresses which means, Norton Anti-Spam doesn't work at all.  I have also search the forums for a possible solution but there are none in the other posts I've come across.

The Block function does not stop the email from getting into your system. It just marks all email from the Block list as Spam. You can then create a filter in your email program to send these emails to the trash. See the help information for the Block feature here.

I believe there are services that can intercept your email before sending it on to you, but I am not familiar with them.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Hello

Have you tried using Outlook Junk Folder instead of Norton Antispam?

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies.  It basically confirmed what I was thinking.  I was hoping to use the Norton Anti-spam feature to control those daily spam e-mails but it really looks like I can only depend on using the controls in Outlook.  It may flag items as being spam but it's nothing I can see or apply a rule to.  Silly me...I thought that by adding those domains or e-mail addresses to the Blocked list it would automatically move them to the Norton Anti-Spam folder in Outlook.  Guess I missed something somewhere, but I really do appreciate the help.

Hello

I use Outlook 2013. After a little training by putting the spam emails into the Junk Email Folder, Outlook will put most of the Spam into the Junk Folder on it's own.. What it misses, I just add to the Junk Folder. I don't use the Norton Anti-Spam Folder.

Thanks.

Have you checked whether you can block them at your ISP?

I have BrightHouse RoadRunner and if I go there in webmail, not using a client like the Windows Live Mail that I use, you can flag messages with a Block flag.

I've done that on individual spam email they have put in the Junk Folder on their server but I don't know if you can specifically pre-enter an address or part of address. I'd like to block all email from .pw which is Palau,

Palau is an archipelago of more than 500 islands, part of the Micronesia region in the western Pacific Ocean

and is a home for certain kinds of internet activity ......
