Whats with the "safe" bar blocking the bottom of my phone?

I recently subscribed to Norton 360 and installed the mobile apps on my Android 9 phone.  It seems that every time I open an app, I get a green bar with "safe" across the bottom of the screen (covering the home buttons).  Sometimes...ok, usually, it stays there until I clear all.

What am I missing?

Is it when you open an app that is already on your device, or when you are looking at potential apps in the Google Play Store app? What you are describing sounds like the App Advisor feature in Norton Mobile Security, NMS, which lets you know whether apps in the Google Play Store are safe or not.

If is apps already on your device, can you give me an example of an app that this happens with, so I can test?

It's intermittent.  I have seen where I install a new app and I get the "safe' bar and it goes away, but it also intermittently happens on apps that have been on my phone before Norton and/or apps that I have used many times since installing Norton and didn't get the "safe" green bar.  When it happens times when it probably shouldn't be, the green bar won't go away unless I go into the phone settings and back out.  I was wondering if maybe it happens when existing apps are updated?

This happening when you install a new app is the App Advisor feature I mentioned above. As you have to go to the Google App Store to update apps, it would give the safe/dangerous message again as you get to that app on the Play Store.

As for apps you already had installed. If you see this when you are not updating the app, can you give an example of an app where this is happening, so I can test.
