Where's the safe search in Norton Family browser?

Really liking this product. Tested almost 10 other options and Norton Family ticks most of the boxes :) On thing really keeps me puzzled though %| On Android tablet (5.1, Dell Venue 8 7840) Norton Family browser doesn't block unsafe search results. Just type nude to address bar and switch to Google image results. OMG... Doing the same in Chrome browser filters all the nasty stuff out. When I turn off Norton Family, Chrome, as expected, shows unsafe results. Is it just me being unlucky or it's some kind of "feature" that I don't understand? Thank you!

Re: Where's the safe search in Norton Family browser?

Our Android offering does not support search supervision at this point in our browser. However, this is something we'll have very shortly.

Regarding the search results you observed in Chrome, that looks odd since Chrome does not block search results/images by default. Exception to this is if you were logged in to Google, and Safe search was enabled.

As for the last observation, it's hard to say why you got unsafe results at a later point. This has less to do with turning off Norton Family. Thanks.

Many thanks for prompt reply, surganes. I look forward to the new feature release then. Meanwhile I'll just block Norton Family browser with AppLock.

For now, please select the option “Turn on SafeSearch” for Google’s SafeSearch filters at Google page http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en to see if it helps.

Thanks
