Which Norton Package?

Hi Guys

I need to upgrade our Antivirus - choice is down to Norton or MalwareBytes.  From what I've read Norton is the way to go ... so which Norton Package should I go for?

I have a small business - 4 Windows machines, and 3 we use at home - for business and personal ... 7 computers plus 3 Android smartphones.  We do not have children, so don't need parental control.  The computers run Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, all have a minimum of 8 GB RAM and gigabytes of spare storage.

Should I get a 10 device package for Norton Premium, Norton Small Business or Norton Family?  (Norton Small Business is the cheapest option, but the other two are both within budget).

I am thinking to add Norton Utilities to our 6 main machines as well.  Are there any packages in which NU comes standard?

I would appreciate very much hearing the recommendations of experienced Norton users.

Thank you all.

Cheers

Tony

Re: Which Norton Package?

Hello Tony. Norton Small Business 20 devices should be adequate for your needs. For more than 20 seats Symantec Endpoint in the way to go. https://us.norton.com/small-business

As far as I can tell NU only covers 3 devices per subscription, that can be expensive. Contact support to see if they can give you a package deal and a price; http://norton.com/chat

Re: Which Norton Package?

FYI

Something else to think about. Norton Utilities has not been updated since before Win 10 was initially released. You might want to research other options.

Norton Family is a parental control software. No malware protection in that.

As SoulAsylum notes, the Small Business option is probably best. That way if you do get other devices you will already have coverage available.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Identity Safe data.

Re: Which Norton Package?

Thank you SoulAsylum and Peterweb.

I've signed up and installed Norton for Small Business ... on the first 3 machines anyway.

Bitdefender took a bit of uninstalling ... maybe that's part of their customer retention plan :)

I hope Norton just quietly does what it's meant too and I forget about it for a while.
