Why can you no longer sort by posted date?

I can find no way to now sort by posted date on the Windows 360 for Windows forum.

Below is a sample of current posted dates, in the order that they appear:

Posted: 04-Jun-2021
Posted: 05-Jun-2021
Posted: 05-Jun-2021
Posted: 05-Jun-2021
Posted: 03-Jun-2021
Posted: 24-May-2021
Posted: 04-Jun-2021

I'd like to be able to sort posts at least in the order posted, starting with the most recent.

I can filter by posted year, but that doesn't change the sort order. It's still as I copied above, at least in the current version of FireFox.

I do wonder why developers make things more difficult. Norton isn't alone in this. It seems change for change's sake.

By searching on "sort order", I found this issue was first raised in Sep. of 2014!

Does not give me confidence in there ever being a solution.

The thread listings are in order of the date of the last post in the thread, with the newest post at the top of the list. So the listing you posted would seem to reflect the date the thread was first created.

Exactly. That's how I want to be able to sort the posts.

I don't care when the last reply was made to a post.

I want to know what are the new posts, not which old posts have new replies.

More generally: Give us _options_ for sorting.

Those who like the current sort order could use it, those of us who want a different order could use that.
