Why do I keep getting ads to buy a new service from Norton when it should already be included in my Norton 360?

Why do I keep getting ads to buy a new service from Norton when it should already be included in the service I'm already paying for, i.e. Norton 360? I get these ads like almost every day. They're as annoying as the ads that show up on most websites. How do I stop them? If Norton 360 is so great, why do I need this other stuff, which should already be included in 360!!
