why i dont trust norton chat support
3 months ago when i contacted chat support and allowed them remote control of my computer they twice closed tabs in firefox without asking. 2 days ago with this in mind i reluctantly allowed a support technician access to my computer to fix a problem in Norton Safety Minder, insisting that s/he does not close firefox or any firefox tabs, to which s/he agreed. As soon as the session began, what does the technician do? - immediately tries to close firefox! Fortunately I was prepared and stopped the closure when firefox said "are you sure?", and then ended the session. Let that be a warning to others.
