Why a warning for examiner.com?

It seems that every site that I go to on the examiner.com web site, my Norton 360 issues a Suspicious Web Page Blocked warning. This  appears to be a legitimate site and I was wondering what is going on that is causing the Norton software to flag every page on this site?

Thanks for showing me that. The pages looked okay and I would not have ask if the warning link would have taken me to this page, instead of a generic page about Internet safety, but I also understand that might not be a viable expectation.

Were you clicking through the warning page to access the site anyway? On the warning page, there should have been a link for more details of the warning. That should have taken  you to the details page bjm_ noted.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Why a warning for examiner.com?

This is from the warning from the site:

"You attempted to access:

http://www.examiner.com/

For your protection, this web page has been blocked and submitted for review. Visit Symantec to learn more about phishing and internet security.

It is recommended that you do NOT visit this page, however if you know that this web page is safe, you may choose to visit this web page anyway.

Exit this site "

If it had contained the link:  https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=examiner.com then I would not have made this inquiry on what looked like a legitimate page. After reviewing the complaints about the pop-ups on the page, I did go back to it. I did not experience what others did 1 - 2 years ago, so it was either due to my pop-up blocker extension or the site trying to clean up its act.
