WiFi Privacy Notifications

I have Norton WiFi Privacy installed on our Samsung S7 Edge cell phones. I have notifications set to 'Off' but notifications and the 'Key' symbol are still showing on the top toolbar.

How to I turn them fully off? I want the program to run, but, I don't need to be reminded it's running all the time.

Thanks.

Re: WiFi Privacy Notifications

The only setting in Norton Wifi Privacy, NWP, for notifications is for when you've connected to an unsecured hotspot. And that is not the key icon you are seeing. There is no setting to remove that icon at this time.

This might be a good suggestion for the Product Suggestions board https://community.norton.com/forums/product-suggestions

Are you also using Norton Mobile Security? That does have a notification setting to remove the Norton icon that works.

Re: WiFi Privacy Notifications

Thanks peterweb. I made the suggestion. I also checked Norton Mobile Security, but I don't see a setting that will turn off the Noti Key.

Thanks.

In NMS, you need to scroll down in the app settings to see the Ongoing Notifications setting. That only affects the NMS icon. Not the NWP icon.
