Re: Wifi Security

While logged into the non admin account, open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton WiFi Privacy\client\Norton Wifi Privacy.exe   Right click on that and click Create Shortcut. Once you set that up, you can run the app and change the settings to Launch at Startup.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Wifi Security

Tried this link  C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton WiFi Privacy\client\Norton Wifi Privacy.exe  but no file found.  Manually went to the file 'location' but nothing there.  Norton WiFi Privacy not in System Configuration Startup, not in Startup on program menu. Settings checked: Launch at startup, autoconnect.

Secure program will start from start menu.

Re: Wifi Security

If you have updated your Norton Wifi Privacy, it is now Norton Secure VPN. So the path to the executable will now be  C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Secure VPN\client\Norton Secure VPN.exe

Re: Wifi Security

Found it.  VPN.exe

Still unable to get it to load at startup even though I have selected that setting.

Not found in System Configuration (msconfig): Startup although Norton Security is there.  Not found in the C:USER either but then again there is no Startup file there.  No Startup file on the Start Menu.

I have a shortcut on the taskbar as a, hopefully, temporary workaround.  Also have a shortcut on the desktop.
