Will my old subscription be retained if I also enter a key?

My old subscription is retained when I buy and enter a new key. I would like to buy a license for 10 devices my current license is for 3 devices and runs until 11/18/22. Will I still get the 3 device license?

Re: Will my old subscription be retained if I also enter a key?

Thanks for the clarification. I see now why my suggestion did not work. You cannot combine the licences to increase the number of devices covered. In your case a 3 device and a 10 device subscription to make a 13 device subscription. My suggestions were only to increase the subscription time. I did not realise you had more than 10 devices you needed to cover.

You did not really need to create a second account. You can register multiple subscriptions in the same Norton Account. So going forward, at the next renewal time(s) you can decide if you still want to maintain the two accounts, or if you want to register both renewals into the same account.

If you just enter the new product key, you will lose the remaining time on your current subscription.

You should contact Norton Support and ask them to help with the upgrade to the 10 device version. That way you will not lose any time.    www.norton.com/contactcs

Yes, but there is an offer on Amazon I pay 84 € a year for a 3 license there I pay 18.99 € for the 10 license sold by Amazon and since there are more devices I also wanted to upgrade cheaply.

In that case you can purchase the less expensive product key. Do not enter it into your product. But you still have to contact Norton Support and ask them to add the time from the new product key to your existing subscription.

Thanks the support couldn't really help me. I created a second account and activated the 10 license there.

Did support say why they could not help? There has been some questions around activating a key purchased from Amazon.  I would try support again. A different agent might see things differently. This time ask the rep to combine the two subscriptions into the new one. Be sure they add to the new one so you get the added device coverage.

I have already activated my 10 device license on my 2nd account.

The supporter wanted to upgrade my 3 license to a 10 license all the time. And I kept saying that I would like to link the two licenses and that I then have 13 devices free to activate, which he apparently did not want to understand and at the beginning asked me for my newly acquired key, which I sent him after 20 times He wanted to write back and forth my key again to check it again, so I said that I had sent it before and that the other supporter said that it was no problem to link the key together and he wrote on it that he was for the I want to apologize for wrong information and constantly asked if he should upgrade me, I said that I bought a license especially for it. Then I lost my patience and wrote that I have a solution and created a second account.
