In Windows 7 64 bits after latest Norton update I cannot launch Norton Security by desktop an app.bar icons.

Good morning everyone

In Windows 7 64 bits, after latest Norton update i cannot launch Norton Security by desktop and app.bar icons. So far to overcome problem I have configured "uistub.exe" to be included in "Windows automatic execution folder" and/or setting in the Startig Management Table of the section "Performances" of Norton Security operator interface as "Norton Protection Center UI Stub" with delaied starting. This operation causes 4 minutes before I can launch Norton Security and around 8 minutes before the Protection Center comes up.

Bet regards

Diego

Did you run LiveUpdate a few times, restarting your system after each run, after the big update?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Yes, I did it twice but nothing change.

Thanks & Regards

P.S. I suppose the best solution should be run NRnR.exe. The problem I have is that I'm not at my home and the place were I'm working hasn't fiber/wide range band connection available, so just downloading the Norton loader program requires about 100 minutes (about 1%/minute) with no  trust to correctly downloading programs.
