Hi. I intend to sell my HP notebook with Windows 7 factory built-in. Of course, once the files have been wiped out, I need to reinstall Windows 7. I have downloaded Norton Utilities. Would this software allow me to permantently wipe out all my files? If yes, is there any link with the steps to follow? As you can see, I don't have a clue on how to do all this. Many thanks in advance.

I am not sure about Norton Utilities but CCleaner will wipe the free space on your drive clean. It will write over all free space after you have deleted confidential files.
You can also format your drive before you reinstall Windows and that will wipe the drive clean also. Just use Google to do some searching and you will find some step by step instructions.
Just make sure you securely write over the drive so no data remains.
