Zero knowledge protocol

Here’s a stupid question, feels that way to me as a retired techie, but I have a very basic knowledge on the workings of encryption. I utilized it forever, but never dug into it! I just learned of the ZK protocol. Is norton password mgr. using it? Cheers!

Re: Zero knowledge protocol

Norton Password Manager does not have a lost password reset/retrieval process.   If you lose your Norton Password Manager password you've lost your stored data-passwords-credentials.
Norton Password Manager locally encrypts/decrypts data stored in the cloud.

Norton does not know your data-passwords-credentials.
Norton Password Manager user holds the encryption key.
Norton knows user has a vault.
Norton does not know the key to the vault.
