Password Manager

I have been trying to export Passwords from a Windows 10 machine to a new machine running Windows 11.  When I "export" the passwords from W10 Password Manager, it only gives me a PDF file.  This fill will not load into W11 Password Manager.  I have looked at all the support sites and cannot resolve.  Also the support web sites and YouTube Videos all show a different GUI for performing.  Any Help would be appreciated.

Re: Password Manager

Norton Password Manager credentials are stored online/cloud.

You should be able to install Norton Password Manager extension to access/use your stored credentials.
for example: Norton Password Manager - Microsoft store

Vault access requires Sign In to your Norton account + your vault password.

You should also be able to access your Norton Password Manager online vault from any web browser.

Re: Password Manager

First thank you, but I have done all as listed and this has not help me in solving my issue(s).  I use Norton to back up my machines. Can anyone tell me where the password vault is in the Norton Backups?

try = Documents -> Norton Password Manager Backups

Note: backup is DAT file that does not work with browser extension.
Maybe, you exported CSV file.

W11 does not have access to Internet Explorer.
You may still have access to Internet Explorer on W10.
You may still have access to Norton Password Manager toolbar - Internet Explorer on W10.

Can you Sign In and access your vault here: Norton Password Manager website

If you cannot find your vault online/cloud then maybe, you still have the offline/local vault.

Re: Password Manager

Thank you, I believe you answered a good portion of my issue.  Windows 11 needs settings set for IE. in order for IE. Apps to run. (Windows 10 still includes a version of Internet Explorer, but in Windows 11, the way to access sites that require IE is with Windows 11’s Internet Explorer mode in Edge.)

Norton Password Manager toolbar last location is W10 - Internet Explorer.
W11 - Internet Explorer mode in Edge - does not have Norton Password Manager toolbar.
Note: modern browsers employ stand-alone Norton Password Manager extension.

Do you have offline/local vault or online/cloud vault?
