VPN too slow to use the password vault. Fix it!! Norton has reached the capacity of the VPN servers.

Norton 360, Windows 10, Initially the Norton VPN product was slow but usable. Average 50% of available bandwidth. [600mb] VPN is now way too slow to where I have shut it off. Norton has reached the traffic capacity limits of the VPN servers in the US. Too bad it's not cloud based. Other available VPN products are much faster. Norton password vault and other network connections [banking, etc.] are locking up. [600mb pipe] Shutting off the VPN connection provides the speed needed for Norton password vault and other connections. Have tried the split tunnel, still locking up. Password vault is still not working properly. Paying for these features must mean I need to scale back to just the virus protection. Especially, when I have to shut down the additional feature that are not usable. BTW do not call the support phone number. Noone is available to answer the phone. On-hold for over 30 minutes.

Suggestion, if you haven't already done so. Try selecting a VPN server in Canada and see whether you get different results.

Thank you. I've tried it before, with no luck. It did work just now. Password vault is at least functional. I can't be the only one running into this issue. Too bad Norton isn't being proactive with the issue. Standing up another couple of VMs or another host would at least increase the I/O capacity. I guess success comes with issues.

Many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, security, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections. 

It appears Norton also blocks VPN access. Even to their own sites from their own VPN??????

Interesting.....  However all sites, including banking today has allowed the VPN from Canada. I have most banking set up with 2-factor. The password manager was also slow before the US VPN stopped the PMgr all together. The password manager is now working properly without connecting to the U.S. DC. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Sooner or later the same issue will occur with the traffic to the Canada site once everyone in the US who is having issues moves to the Canadian DC. Where the passwords are encrypted on my laptop, I might move off of Norton Password manager and VPN all together. No response from Norton is not acceptable.

All: None of my Windows 10 machines have the Norton VPN nor N360 so I will test the VPN on my Windows 11 machine with N360 to determine if this is isolated or an across the board VPN issue regarding "all sites". There are numerous threads across the forums where the Norton VPN has continuing bandwidth and other issues. I use it sparingly so will test and post back with results.

All: On my Windows 11 machine with N360, i AM posting this post with the VPN enabled, set to region United States. NONE of Norton websites I have tried are blocked. FWIW, no other websites are blocked with the exception of banking sites that prevent the use of proxies and VPN connections for their own security reasons. I DID find, with the VPN enabled I cannot log into the NORTON PASSWORD MANAGER via my browser extension. No other issues noted with the VPN and its usage my side.

In the VPN settings I do have things set as shown below in the screenshot. Hoping that others may do a comparison and see different results using these settings.
