Norton 360. Cannot Install in Windows 11 LapTop.

Hi Folks. I have a Samsung Book Go. With Windows 11 OS. And a ARM Processor. I spent Over 3 Hours Trying to Indtall Norton 360 .... and cannot Install it. Called the Norton Tech Support Folks. Created Ticket # [Removed]. They are saying that the Norton 360 Cannot be installed since it is Windows 11 and the LapTop has a ARM Processor. Any deas, help will be appreciated.

  • Microsoft Windows 11/10 (all versions)

  • Microsoft Windows 11 in S mode with ARM processors

  • Microsoft Windows 10 in S mode (32-bit or 64-bit or ARM32) version 1803 and above

  • Microsoft Windows 8/8.1 (all versions)

    Some protection features are not available in Windows 8 Start screen browsers.

  • Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) with Service Pack 1 (SP 1) or later with SHA2 support

So you can see that the Arm processor is supported in Windows 11 if your device is in S mode. See this Microsoft support article on S mode.

It does not surprise me since the architecture is different from other processors. I think Microsoft just started to support ARM processors with Windows 11 and Norton is still probably behind on the support side for this processor with Windows.

The Norton Mobile product is probably designed to run on ARM processors.

Try to download and install the standalone setup file from here:-

https://www.norton.com/cspn360

and after Installed completed try running LIVEUPDATE multiple times untill you see no update available.
