Norton 360 font problems

Hi everyone,

suddenly a few days ago, norton begin to visualize every windows or message with a garbage font. It is impossible to interact with the program. I haven't changed anything to my configuration, no new installations, nor removed any software. Already tried to uninstall and reinstall norton with the provided tool. No changes. It seems a font corruption, but how to resolve? I'm stucked.

Any suggestions?

I am also experiencing the same issue. I also notice the same thing with emails that I receive from Norton.

Having the same issue in Norton 360.  Started after the Norton update a few days ago.  Also had the same issue on the Norton My Account website, so unable to contact support that way.  I use Firefox and went to settings and set the fonts to override the web page fonts.  Now I can at least read the Norton MyAccont page again.  I tried uninstalling and deleting everything related to Norton 360 on my PC, including in the AppData.  After that when the installer started, it showed readable  English until the download step. then all went to crap.

Latest patch has been released to version 22.22.9.11

Update to this version via LIVEUPDATE to see if issue resolved?

I have solved my problem by uninstaling Norton first, then I randomly uninstalled at least 50, but probably more, of the fonts that I had installed on my lap top (I obviously had too many, more than 600). Than I reinstalled Norton and everything is fine, even after update.

I recently became aware of the strange font appearing in place of readable text in my Norton installation. After looking for answers, unsuccessfully, with an online search, as well as here in the Norton community, I was able to find the solution on my own. I opened a new Word document and started going through the list of available fonts. When I saw one that contained symbols such as those in the OP's screenshot, I typed out a few letters to see how they looked. After a bit of trial and error, I located the culprit (at least on my system). There were three or four in the same group, with names "Inter", "Inter___", "Internat", and "Intersym". They all contained the same characters as those seen in the above screenshot; comparing them to what I saw in my own Norton screen, I confirmed that they were identical. I deleted those four fonts from my Windows font folder and that solved the problem, my Norton looks normal again. I didn't have to remove and reinstall Norton to fix the problem. I don't recommend removing any fonts from Windows without confirming that they are the ones interfering with your Norton installation, easily done as I have described. I hope this helps.
