Norton says my home WiFi is compromised on my iPhone and iPad but mot my d3esktop or laptop what is happening

FOr the last three or four weeks I have been getting notifications on my iPhone and iPad the my home wifi network is compromised. However there is no notification on my desk top or laptop. SAince vpn prevents me from opening many sites provided by the search engin having vpn permanently or even intermittenly on when the network does not appear to be compromised is to say the least frustrating. What is a solution.

Are your desktop and laptop also connected by wifi?

What iPhone and iOS version are you using?

Any new apps added around the time you started seeing this message that access wifi?

I am having the same problem on iphone and ipad but no similar message on my PC - all connected via the same BT Hub.

I've only just been able to get back to this. Yes both my PC and laptop are connected to my wifi one by wifi the other by ethernet. I'm using iPhone13 promax with ios 16.1 although over the last week the problem has been much reduced it has not gone away completely/

When did this start happening? Did it start after you upgraded iOS to version 16.x?

Sending logs to Norton might be the next step here. 

Please send logs to Norton to help diagnose your problem.

Start by opening iOS settings on your device and scroll down to the bottom where the apps are listed. Tap on the Norton  360 app and tap to Enable Debug Log.  

Now use your device until it causes the issue you are having. Then open the 360 app and tap on the three bars at the top left, then tap Help. Tap on Send Error Report and fill in any information requested. In your submission, please include "forum 'your username' " in the Case ID section of the report. Also include a link to this thread. 

If you do send logs, please let me know and I'll notify my contacts to look for them.

THanks for your interest. It started happening about a month ago. I have just reaslised that it was with the previous version of ios which updated itself last week to 16. So far since Saturday I haven't had a single occurance compared with two weeks ago it appearing every 5 minutes or so. Maybe ios 16 has cured the problem.
