Bullguard User

I've been a Bullguard subscriber for years. I know that Norton bought Bullguard. I got an email offering me Norton GO Deluxe at a discount. I paid and downloaded Norton but somehow I've ended up with Norton 360 for Gamers.

I am not a gamer. Have I been given an inferior product ? What's the difference between GO Deluxe and 360 for Gamers ?

Thank you

Re: Bullguard User

The two products look very similar to me. They both have a game optimizer function.

Features of Norton GO

If you are not a gamer I would not want Norton 360 for Gamers. It is meant to be less intrusive while you are gaming.

Re: Bullguard User

I think they have given me Norton 360 for gamers!!!!! I'm not a gamer. My adult kids will be rolling about laughing thinking that anyone thought I was a gamer. So much for a trouble free migration..........Think I'll be looking elsewhere if they can't even give me the correct software.

Re: Bullguard User

Wotton. Did you uninstall BullGuard BEFORE installing your Norton product?

Re: Bullguard User

I didn't install it Norton did when they took over BullGuard. They didn't even install the correct one, They gave me Norton 360 for Gamers when the email said it would be Norton GO.

Re: Bullguard User

There have been other users here that said the migration to Norton did not go as planned. They actually ended up with both programs on their computer. Check your Task Manager to see if you see any Bullguard processes running, and if you do, you need to manually remove Bullguard.

Re: Bullguard User

Wondering if this isn't what Norton Go actually is, actually a Microsoft Store app? That a bit lame for where I sit. In my view. Its apparent that Bulldog customers SHOULD have had the choice of what equal Norton product THEY wished to be upgraded to based on their previous valid Bullguard subscriptions? JUST a thought.
