Norton Safe Search needs editable Quick-Links

I'm using many of NORTON Products for years and decade of years (it think it starts for me in the early 90's - maybe late at the end of 80's?! I'm not sure exactly). From the first day - the first installation (for "mummy" ;-)) and until this, i had recommended -at least for hundreds of clients, customers, friends and relatives- at your AV-Protection as THE solution! I had installed, adjusted and explained many, many, many people, followed by hundreds of hours for support and questions until that time.

In the last month, many of this people asked me for removing your "Norton Safe Search" -Option (a nice an important feature, but - really: a lot of them), because the new startpage changed there "well known" and "beloved" way of internet using so hardly, that they will back there old startpages. Also under the costs of protection.

Some of them (not really many) accept that this step is an important part for there security and a secure surfing. But those users, with an better technical understanding, rightly asked: "WHY? Because, if they used there beloved Google, Yahoo or Bing, they had also exact the same protection Information, because the results from Google, BING and Yahoo (also many other search engines) result are also shown with the green or red "Norton Safe Webs Check"-Buttons - and they are right.

In addition of this: i'd also get many questions about this shown "Quick-Links" under the Safe Search Startpage. Many of them asked how they can change it. Some of them asked for adding there T-Online-, Gmail- or other eMail-Hosters Webpage, others of them needs there Bank- or Stock- Services and many other beloved stuff.

No question! A lot of them could be solved by Bookmarks, some users solved it by a Desktop-Icon to those URLs - but it is "still not there Startpage" and imho (in my humbly opinion) is this an effect where to much users stopped the safe search AddOn, just to get back there beloved startpages.

I had asked here (at the community) and in some other Boards too for many times before - and never get an feedback from SYMANTEC, why they can't add a feature to edit this Quick-Links?! Maybe, with as options to set there own startpage, maybe with some editable URLs to change it into personal URLs, maybe all together and maybe as an payable feature (for lost income of no more Marketing-Links) for small money?! BUT EDITABLE.

So - my Question to all other readers, users and searchers, who read this:

So, another Sunday lost and i hope it would be worthy. I have taken much trouble to show what concerns me here and really would be a relief. Let's hope it another that is worth.

At the end: sorry for my lousy English! But i hope it was good enough to show you what i mean and to motivate some others to think about an solution. I'm for sure, that many system are more secure, if those user never need to stop this AddOn at his browsers (or at least "came back" to Norton protections).

Last, but not least: a good chance to say THANKS to all NORTON employees and developers for a good done job and for years over years on my personal protection against many hazards page, attacks and bad scripts. I'm for sure, that NORTON is still one of the best solutions in kind of your well done work - and i don't get tired, to be happy and recommend your Protection and will help out at installations and explanation on them for the next years too. Hopefully with some "editable Quick-Links" at the startpage under Norton Safe Search ;-)
