Norton Core lost all connections - wired and wifi

Out of the box, the Norton Core worked well.  Had the computers, pads, and phones connected to the internet (21 connections with printers etc.).  Getting fantastic speeds (we have 600mbs down and 940mbs up currently, 5GH was seeing 200-300mbs).  Then all connections stopped working after about 2 hours. All wired devices were off line.  The named 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz and Guest network names vanished.  The base light stayed on solid white. The app said everything was OK and all computers were connected.   Nothing like unplugging, waiting 30 seconds, powering up...  hitting restart on the ios app fixed it.  Clicking the button on the underside didn't work either. Factory reset with the app didn't reset it.

Holding the button down for 30 seconds finally did a factory reset.

I started over and everything worked, for about 4 hours, then all connections dropped again and wifi vanished again.

I now have the Norton Core ON my prior network (so i have a router downstream from a router - an Apple Airport Extreme) and I have only a couple of Wifi devices connected to the Norton Core.  It has continued to work for 9 hours so far.

The firmware is updated.

Any thoughts out there?

I had the same problem.  Had to reset my Comcast router to "bridge" via its control program accessed through a browser, seemed to solve the problem.

Have I nade a huge error with this Core?  I have Norton 360 on about 10 pc's and Norton Security on a bunch others.  So why will I have to pay for the additional Core software portion  Seems like a ripoff?  Maybe I should cancel this purchase pronto!?

You can combine your current subscriptions with the new Core Security Plus software subscription. So you do not lose anything. Just contact Norton Support to have them make the necessary arrangements.    www.norton.com/contactcs

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Bikerjohn I'm following up with this older thread since there hasn't been anything posted to address your situation. Are you currently setup with the ISP modem to Core setup as it should be? Do you have the latest app version 1.22.2? What version firmware is your Core at? It should be v193 if there have been no issues updating.

Cheers

Bikerjohn The Core firmware has updated to version 202. Did that release correct your problems? Are you setup with your ISP modem in bridged mode or NAT-NAT?

Cheers
