Buying a second hand core - No license available.

Hi guys.

My other half purchased a used Core recently and i have only just go around to setting it up.

When running through the setup i get stuck at the activation where it says "No License Available: We are unable to detect a valid license for this Norton Core on this account".

What do i need to do to get past this?

Thanks

You need to purchase a subscription to the Core service. This can only be done directly through Norton. Contact Norton Support to have them set this up for you.    www.norton.com/contactcs

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Asher, does Core reflect the account as being yours or another person, maybe the previous owner? Factory reset the device and wipe the old data linked to it. Do you currently have a Core router and a current subscription? As peterweb suggested each Core requires a subscription of it own to activate the Core itself thus tying it to you. Give Norton Core support a shout here. Support for other Norton products may not be able to assist you as well. Happy holidays.

Cheers

@AsherTrafford I'm following up to see how you've made out with the 2nd Core.
