(Mac OSX/BigSur) Norton Secure VPN | Unresponsive with High CPU Utilization

I have noticed that Norton Secure VPN will consume all CPU and become unresponsive.  

It also freezes up the internet access.

Sometimes, force quitting the app will restore connectivity, but sometime a reboot is what is needed.

Anyone else having similar issues.  Any resolution.

I haven't found a way to STOP Norton VPN from starting up.  The 'Home' splash shows that the Secure VPN is 'off'
