SUPERBUG: Norton360 & Norton Antivirus Plus: Norton LiveUpdate Patches Causing Program Errors

Greetings:

I dropped Norton360 because the LiveUpdate Patches were causing errors in the installed program that forced Norton VPN to quit working. I switched to Norton AntiVirus Plus hoping to escape these issues. Now, I'm finding out that the LiveUpdate Patches are causing the same errors.

Norton TechWizards need to pay closer attention to the effect(s) caused to installed program software that either directly affect or indirectly effect VPN service.

I seem to be spending far too much time in Support Chat Windows assisting Norton with fixing THEIR problems. 

SEQUENCE:

Running Windows 10

Start LiveUpdate/Install Updates/?Patch Available-Install Patch?

I just ran live update which led to Apply Fix. I clicked on that and an Error came up so I restarted my computer and ran live update again. It said updates not required. Now I wonder if restarting my computer does actually sort this problem and the Fix was applied. How does one tell if it was applied.
