cant withdraw my eth (failed transaction)

so I've mined a few days, got a small amount of coins but i wanted to withdraw to have them in my wallet. I connect my account and when I go to transfer I lower the amount by a tad (from what i read on other forums) and it still wont let me transfer it. is the system down or something? please help. I don't want this to be the reason I stop mining eth from your platform

Re: cant withdraw my eth (failed transaction)

Also note that it is in a wallet, a Norton Wallet which is holding your Ethereum. There is no need to move small amounts to coinbase, in fact the Ethereum network fee for transferring (known as gas), which goes to the Ethereum network miners, is the same if you try to move a small amount or a large amount.

Re: cant withdraw my eth (failed transaction)

Hmmmm if i hover the mouse on the "what's this" at the network fee it says that over 0.00126 ETH the fee's are higher and equal or below 0.00126 ETH = lower fees.

From what i saw, best times to withdraw are between 6-8 am. Dont know why but for example i had 20£ in the wallet and the lowest fee was 10£ between those hours, rest of the day was between 13£ to 15£.

Hope this info helps :)

Re: cant withdraw my eth (failed transaction)

The issue was resolved for the original poster. If anyone else is seeing issues, please send me a DM with your Norton email address. Please note - 1. The GAS is a network fee that is imposed by the ETH network and Norton has no control over it. Read more here : https://ethereum.org/en/developers/docs/gas/ 2. This GAS fee will be imposed on all transfers from your Norton wallet and will be the same if you are moving $20 or $200 or $2000. So please be vigilant on the transfer amount you have. To save on the GAS fee, you can let the balance build up in the Norton safe wallet before transferring out.

Re: cant withdraw my eth (failed transaction)

What is wrong with the Norton Wallet? I suspect you are trying to move some of the "pending" which is technically not in your wallet yet

i has 15 bucks in there at the time the fees were 5.75 and it would fail every time i tried to withdraw

Re: cant withdraw my eth (failed transaction)

There has been a new release of the portal with a new withdrawal screen which should help with any withdrawal issues.

As has been suggested before  -

For any withdrawals, there is a GAS fee imposed. GAS is a network fee that is imposed by the ETH network and Norton has no control over it. Read more here : https://ethereum.org/en/developers/docs/gas/(link is external)

This GAS fee will be imposed on all transfers from your Norton wallet and will be the same if you are moving $20 or $200 or $2000. To save on the GAS fee, you can let the balance build up in the Norton secure wallet before transferring out to Coinbase.
