Been asked by Norton to post this with more details.Tracking doesn't work when you want it to it is very buggy, when location is requested it does not always work. normally requires an uninstall re install on child end and re allow all permissions to get it working again, also from the parent end it often doesn't show my children on the main screen it needs a log out and re log in to get that working. There also doesn't seem to have an option to stop internet and game usage i.e. app by app for a mobile is is needed as I don't want the whole phone to be locked after say 3 hours I still want my children to be able to call. Also when extension request are sent by my children they take ages up to 10 mins to come through then when accepted it does not allow them to use the device. Devices used android phones on android 11 and 12 also windows 10.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

In order for the Norton Family Android App to work efficiently, it needs to be setup properly. Please follow the below help documents and make sure you set the app as given instructed.

Please note that for the Location Feature to work, the app needs GPS ON and location permission granted all the time.

This issue is fixed, please update your app to the latest version.

Regarding the time extension issue in windows device:

When a time extension request is approved it should get reflected immediately in your child's PC. In case there is a delay, please try updating the house rules from Norton Family Tray Icon. Right Click on "Norton Family" Tray Icon and choose "Update House Rules".
