Error - This site can't be reached

since installing Norton 360 on my Mac I am no longer able to use my Cashrewards. I open a site that is partnered with cashrewards eg: booking.com or agoda.com, I click on the activate tab for the cashrewards and constantly get the error "this site can't be reached" it also shows, check if there is a typo in click.linksynergy.com. then underneath is shows DNS PROBE FINISHED NXDOMAIN with a tab to reload, which doesn't work. This is so frustrating as cashrewards is exactly that. When using certain sites to purchase items that are partnered with cashrewards I get a % or monetary value back to my cashrewards account. So basically norton is now costing me money. Can anyone help me resolve this issue, in the simplest of term as I am not IT trained at all. Any help appreciated.

As a test. Does disabling Norton auto-protect temporarily allow the site to load?

Thanks for replying and trying to help, I have tried both links you posted and neither helped with my issue. It's just so frustrating as I know Norton must support cashrewards because I received 50% back from cashrewards when I purchased my Norton 360 for Mac. So very strange they have set up a block for a site they promote to purchase their product.

I can open the site without any issues on my daily machine, I don't have an account so I cannot attest to the links other than the main site not working. I don't get anything being blocked via Norton at that page. What browser are you using?

Hi,

I can open the site, I get the error when I try to activate my cashrewards to gain the rewards from whichever site I'm purchasing something from. I'm using chrome.

In your opening post the screenshot you posted is Chrome giving you the message vice Norton. Give the suggestions in this article a shot. Restart your computer then recheck for the issue still being present. Chrome is the issue.
