outgoing Emails not connecting to server

Outgoing emails not connecting with STMP server using eM-Client mail app Version 9. Found out that Norton Secure VPN for Windows 11 was the problem. With VPN turned off Outgoing emails worked fine. With it on could not connect to the outgoing server even with Antivirus scanning turned off for outgoing emails

You can add the eM-Client .exe file to the VPN Split Tunnel function. Click on the down arrow beside the Turn on/off button for the VPN feature and click on Settings. Click on Split Tunnel and add. Navigate to the .exe file for your email client and add that to have it bypass the VPN. Then you can use the VPN for your regular use and still be able to send email without having to turn off the VPN
