VPN blocking printer-trying Split Tunnel/Device Trust not working

I added my Dell laser printer which is connected wirelessly to the same network as my computer as a trusted device on the network. Unfortunately because Windows 11 adds its own drivers for peripherals like my printer, it also gives it a different name. So there is no desktop shortcut to use for the printer because windows has given it a different name. There's no way to find app to exclude it from my secure VPN traffic.
