I just did a "Live Update" and now Norton 360 Deluxe will NOT open when clicked on.
I did a "Restart"/Shutdown of Windows10x64, Signed In desktop loaded but 1) Norton is in the Start Menu to auto start but is not..
2)clicking on the desktop icon or the Taskbar icon also does not allow Norton 360 to open.
3) numerous other problems on any of my 5 licensed computers

Did you do a Restart or a Shutdown? Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

Not using IOBIT AdvancedSystemCare or similar by chance? I had a PC starting remote desktop software on boot and it kept getting turned off which was quite annoying. It turned it off in 'Services' to not start automatically in order to speed up the start sequence. Might be an idea to look at Services as Norton has a couple in there.

Problem was in some config.sys file.
Remote session found that line code and removed it.

You mean Norton support? They did that on all your computers???
