Unwanted VPN Desktop Icon

Hello,

Has anyone found a way to stop the annoying, unwanted, ugly yellow VPN desktop shortcut icon from going to my desktop upon each reboot?  I have temporarily uninstalled the application to avoid this from occurring.  Issue is separate from start menu and taskbar.  Thanks in advance!

Turn OFF every settings from My Norton.
