How can I change the script control settings?

Hi all,
When I download a Word or PDF document from the internet and it contains hyperlinks, a Norton pop-up appears saying 'File Successfully Sanitized / We've removed a script from ...' (see screenshot 1 attached). Then, I find that all hyperlinks have been changed to 'about:blank'. (I don't understand why it treats hyperlinks as scripts, but anyway ...)
This is a problem, as I usually need these hyperlinks to be kept. I can work around it by clicking on Security History in the pop-up and then using the Restore option, but I don't want to have to do this every time.
I had the same issue on a different computer a couple of years ago, and I think I resolved it by turning off the 'Remove scripts when downloading documents' option in the settings.
Now, on my current computer, I can't find that setting. In fact, the Settings menu in my installation of Norton is very basic - it just has Product Tour (not really settings at all!), Launch View, VPN and Software Updater (see screenshot 2 attached).
The advice here says there's an Antivirus option (with a Script Control tab) in the Settings menu, but I can't see it.
Can anyone please tell me how I can turn off that option?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Graham
